About Us

Central Texas Pathology Laboratory (CTPL) was formed in 1997 when Waco Clinical Pathology Laboratory and Medical Laboratory Service of Waco merged to form one company.  All pathologists at CTPL are board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology, and two have subspecialty boards, one in Dermatopathology and one in Cytopathology. 

The pathologists at Central Texas Pathology Laboratory have been serving the Waco and Central Texas area for over 38 years and have combined experience of over 150 years.

CTPL is committed to the practice of quality anatomic pathology in the communities it serves.

CTPL will retain a staff of board-certified pathologist, properly trained support personnel, and appropriate technology to achieve high standards.

CTPL is committed to sound short-term and long term financial decisions and strategies that will allow it to meet the expectations of its patients, referring physicians, employees and stockholders, so it may remain a viable, independent laboratory.

CTPL will respond to all professional and employee issues with honesty and integrity.  Discrimination, harassment, fraud, and  / or abuse will not be tolerated.
