Larry W. Cartmell Jr.
Larry W. Cartmell Jr., M.D. graduated from the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma in 1987. He completed an anatomic and pathology residency at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas in 1992. After serving as an Associate Pathologist for South Tulsa Pathology Laboratory in Tulsa, Oklahoma and St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma, he joined CTPL in 1998.
Gary F. Geldmeier
Gary F. Geldmeier, M.D. received his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center Medical School in San Antonio, Texas in 1982. He completed an anatomic and clinical pathology residency at Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas, Texas in 1986. He then completed a one-year Fellowship in Surgical Pathology in 1987. Dr. Geldmeier joined Medical Laboratory Service of Waco upon completion of his fellowship in 1987.
Adam S. Johnson
Adam S. Johnson, M.D., M.S. graduated from The University of Texas Medical School at Houston in 2012. He completed Anatomic and Clinical Pathology residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in 2016. He then completed Surgical Pathology fellowship at The Hospital of The University of Pennsylvania in 2017. He is board-certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology. Following graduation, Dr. Johnson joined Little River Healthcare - Central Texas Pathology Laboratory.
Douglas B. Michaels
Douglas B. Michaels, M.D. received his medical degree from the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas in 1980, and completed an anatomic and clinical pathology residency at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas in 1984. He was an Associate Pathologist for Affiliated Pathologists in Denton, Texas before joining Waco Clinical Pathology Laboratory in 1988. He is the Laboratory Medical Directory at Providence Health Center in Waco, Texas. Dr. Michaels is also board-certified in Cytopathology.
Claudius E. Robinson
Claudius E. Robinson, M.D, Ph.D. graduated from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine with a combined MD/PhD program in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma in 1999. He then completed an anatomic and clinical pathology residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas in 2003. Dr. Robinson then completed a surgical pathology fellowship from the same medical center in 2004. He joined Central Texas Pathology Laboratory in 2007. Dr. Robison is board-certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology.
Daniel A. Smith
Daniel A. Smith, D.O., Ph.D. graduated from the University of California Riverside with a Ph.D. in Microbiology in 2003 and graduated from the Western University of Health Sciences School of Osteopathic Medicine in Pomona, California in 2007. He completed an anatomic and pathology residency at the Texas A&M Health Science Center College of Medicine at Scott and White in Temple, Texas in 2011. Dr. Smith completed a subspecialty fellowship in Cytopathology at the same college in 2012, and then joined Central Texas Pathology immediately after graduation. Dr. Smith is board-certified in anatomic and clinical pathology and is also board-certified in the subspecialty of Cytopathology.
Christopher N. Thompson
Christopher N. Thompson, M.D. graduated from the Texas A&M University System Health Science Center School of Medicine in Temple, Texas in 2006. He completed an anatomic and clinical pathology residency from the same school of medicine in 2010 and a fellowship in surgical pathology from the same institution in 2011. Dr. Thompson joined Central Texas Pathology Laboratory immediately upon completion of his hematopathology fellowship. Dr. Thompson is board-certified in anatomic and clinical pathology, and hematopathology and is the Chairman of the Pathology departments at Providence Health Center.
Megan E. Stewart
Megan E. Stewart, P.A. (ASCP)CM graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana in 1999. She graduated with a Master of Science from the Pathologists’ Assistant Program, Indiana University School of Medicine, in Indiana in 2011. She joined Central Texas Pathology Laboratory shortly thereafter and is board-certified as a Pathologists’ Assistant by the American Society for Clinical Pathology.
Michael A. Still, P.A. (ASCP)CM graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Baylor University in Waco, TX in 2011. He worked for Central Texas Pathology Laboratory as a Laboratory Assistant from 2011 to 2013 before leaving to attend the Indiana University School of Medicine's (Indianapolis, IN) Pathologists' Assistant Program. He graduated with a Master of Science in 2015, and shortly thereafter, rejoined Little River Healthcare - Central Texas Pathology Laboratory as an American Society for Clinical Pathology board-certified Pathologists’ Assistant.
